The Foundation
The Menarini Group, present in 140 countries throughout the world, believes strongly in information sharing and scientific cooperation.
Fondazione Menarini was established in 1976 to promote culture, science, and high-quality education at all levels and in multiple fields such as biology, pharmacology, medicine, economics, and the human sciences.
As part of its activities over the years, the Fondazione has held more than 450 international conferences addressing cutting-edge subjects in medicine and biology as well as topics which, due either to their wide-ranging scientific implications or practical fallout, are of specific interest to the medical community.
Minuti Digitale
The Minuti science journal, produced in collaboration with the U.S. publication American Family Physician, flanks the Fondazione as a medical information organ. Delivered free of charge to 100,000 subscribing Italian physicians, Minuti offers updates on numerous diseases and disorders and on treatment approaches.
In addition to the science edition, the Fondazione also publishes an art edition of Minuti, with the aim of helping keep alive the ancient tradition of the humanist physician and its readers’ sensitivity to art and love for its myriad forms.
In order to provide service more attuned to the needs of medical practitioners, Minuti is also available in digital format in several languages. Besides facilitating international distribution to a broader readership, the digital editions constitute an important step toward sustainable publishing.
